BSA Armatic
Notes: This
replacement for the Ralock is a much more conventional design, with a
conventional box magazine and dispensing with the complex radial-locking
mechanism. It fired from a closed
breech instead of the open breech of the Ralock.
The Armatic is grooved for a scope mount.
Despite being produced from 1963-1969, only about 5000 were built.

BSA Ralock
Notes: The
Ralock (Radial-Locking) is a small-caliber sporting rifle made by BSA for a few
years following World War 2 (1949-51).
It is an interesting design, meant to be taken apart easily and stored in
a small package. It was also cocked
by pushing forward on the trigger guard instead of having a normal charging
handle or lever. It used a tubular
magazine in the butt.
