Breda Antares
Notes: The Antares is a semiautomatic magnum shotgun designed for 12 gauge ammunition. The weapon is designed for hard use and is resistant to wear, with a nickel-chrome-molybdenum steel receiver and chrome-vanadium steel barrel. The inside of the barrel and chamber are coated with hardened chrome. The mechanism is made from chrome-vanadium steel, hardened, and then coated with hardened chrome. The stock and front grip are of select walnut. The Antares may have a 24.625-inch barrel with interchangeable chokes, or a 25.625-inch or 27.625-inch barrel with a fixed choke of the customer’s choice. The barrels have a sighting rib above the barrel. The feed from the tubular magazine may be stopped with a switch, allowing for manual feed of the chamber for special loads or adding that one extra round in the chamber.

Breda Astro
Notes: The Astro is a semiautomatic shotgun firing 12 Gauge or 20 gauge magnum shells. It has the typical Breda quality of workmanship and toughness, with the receiver, mechanism, and barrel largely made of chrome-molybdenum steel, most of which is hard-chromed in all the important areas. The stock and fore-end are of walnut. The Astro has a chamber-loaded indicator, and the feed from the tubular magazine may be interrupted with a switch and rounds fed manually into the chamber. The 12-gauge Astro has barrels with internal or external interchangeable chokes, with a slug barrel and several lengths of shot barrels. The 12-gauge version also comes in fixed choke versions, with two possible barrel lengths. The 20-gauge Astro comes in only one barrel length, with an interchangeable choke set or a fixed choke of the customer’s choice. Both have a thick recoil pad on the butt.

Breda Ermes
Notes: Like most Breda shotguns, this is a recoil-operated semiautomatic shotgun designed for magnum shells. The receiver housing is built from light alloy, but the rest of the metal parts are made from chrome-molybdenum steel, including the cover for the receiver housing. The barrels are interchangeable, and those barrels may have fixed or interchangeable chokes. The barrels have a ventilated sighting rib on top. Interchangeable choke barrels may have lengths of 24, 25.625, 26, or 27.625 inches; fixed choke versions may have barrels of 25.625 or 27.625 inches. There are several models of the Ermes (Ermes 2000, Ermes 2000L, Ermes Silver, Ermes Gold), but they differ primarily in the adornment and finish of the weapon and have no effect in game terms.

Breda Grizzly Mag
Notes: This is a semiautomatic magnum shotgun capable of firing virtually any sort of 12 gauge shotgun shell ranging from 2.75-inch to 3.5-inch shells, and a wide variety of shot types, slugs, or sabots. The Grizzly is built using the latest technology, and has a receiver which is almost petite, as well as a synthetic stock with a recoil pad on the butt and an intertia recoil system which does a good job of dampening recoil. Stocks are black or finished with a camouflage finish called Advantage Timber HD (and known in this guise as the Grizzly Mag Camo). As with most hunting weapons, the magazine capacity is small, especially with 3.5-inch shells. The shotgun comes with five interchangeable choke tubes: Improved Cylinder, Modified, Full, Skeet, and Improved Modified. The Grizzly Mag is regarded as an unusually reliable and steady shotgun.
Twilight 2000 Notes: The Grizzly Mag does not exist in the Twilight 2000 timeline.

Breda Mira
Notes: This is one of Breda’s newest shotguns. It is a semiautomatic shotgun, operated by gas instead of the normal Breda recoil operation. The mechanism housing is made from a light alloy (though the top of the receiver is made from steel). The top of the receiver is grooved for a telescopic sight. The trigger guard is made from plastic. The barrel has a ventilated sighting rib on top, and the barrels are also interchangeable. The barrels are also equipped with interchangeable chokes. There are two versions of the Mira with synthetic stocks and fore-ends: the Mira Synthetic and Mira Camo (which has an overprinted woodland camouflage pattern). The standard model has a walnut stock and fore-end. Both weigh the same (quite light in weight).
Twilight 2000 Notes: This shotgun does not exist.

Caesar Roman MMI
Notes: The Roman MMI (MMI being the Roman numerals for 2001, the year of the Roman MMI’s introduction) is a semiautomatic shotgun designed for hunting. It is recoil-operated, and chambers only 3-inch shells. Like most Caesar Guerini shotguns, the available barrel lengths are 24, 26, and 28 inches, and those barrels are made from chrome-molybdenum steel with bores lined with hard chrome. They can be bought with a fixed choke of the buyer’s wishes or with Selecta interchangeable chokes. External interchangeable chokes are also available; these increase the barrel length by 4 inches and allow for longer-range shots, as well as easier choke replacement and additions. The barrel also has a ventilated barrel rib. The stock and the fore-end are made from walnut. A deluxe version of the Roman MMI is also made, called the Gladius; this is identical to the Roman MMI for game terms. The Roman MMI has a push button to interrupt the magazine feed to allow shells to be loaded manually or to empty the chamber when safing it.
Twilight 2000 Notes: This shotgun does not exist.
