Notes: As the name implies, this is conventional bolt-action sporting rifle firing .22 Hornet ammunition. The receiver is squared, better to accept sight mounts and scope rings. The stock has a Monte Carlo comb, and the handiwork on these rifles is excellent. Controls are large and easy to manipulate. Unusual for a civilian sporter is sling swivels. For whatever reason, the Sportco Hornet was never popular and production has ceased by the early 1970s.
