Notes: This is a heavy recovery vehicle used by the Dutch for the recovery of unarmored vehicles and light armored vehicles. It is based on a DAF heavy truck chassis, and there is a large bay behind the cab for spare parts and equipment; this bay is big enough to carry a heavy truck engine. Behind that is a crane with a capacity of 10 tons. There is also a winch with a capacity of 20 tons, or 40 tons with block and tackle. Two outriggers are deployed in heavy lifting or winching operations. Towing capacity is 18 tons. This vehicle normally carries an assortment of cables, ropes, and chains, as well as basic, wheeled vehicle, and tracked vehicle tools, an air compressor, and a welding set. This vehicle is in service only with the Netherlands.
