Valmet M-412-S
Notes: This is a simple break-open rifle that was originally part of a range of firearms that included shotguns, rifles, and combination guns. It is a sturdy rifle that is easily cared for and allows decent accuracy (if not rapid fire). The stock has a Monte Carlo comb without a cheekpiece. All of these rifles feature automatic ejection of spent shells except for the .30-06 version.

Valmet Orava
Notes: This compact and simple rifle is designed for youths and those first learning how to shoot. It is a plain rifle with few features other than a pistol-grip stock with a finger groove and an action easy to take down and clean. It is otherwise a standard rimfire rifle.

Valmet Finnish Lion
Notes: This is a target rifle, once one of the weapons of choice for target shooters. It combined low price, excellent quality, and accuracy. A variety of target-shooting accessories could be fitted, from hand stops for the pistol grip and fore-end to bipods and telescopic sights. There were several variants: the Finnish Lion Champion, with a thumbhole stock, a trigger that could be adjusted for a release pressure as low as 100 grams, and a heavy 28.35" barrel; the Finnish Lion International, a standard Finnish Lion without mounts for scopes or optical sights, and either a thumbhole or standard stock as desired; the Finnish Lion Junior, a smaller-stocked version with a simplified action (identical for game purposes); and the Finnish Lion Match, with a raised cheekpiece, an extended hook-type buttplate, and a bipod attachment (also identical for game purposes).
